If we could have a diet containing a lot fruits and vegetable, it will go a long way in reducing risk of heart diseases and stroke, prevent some types of cancer and also lower risk of eye and digestive problems. According to HAVARD school of public health, eating non-starchy vegetable like apples, pear and green leafy vegetables might promote weight loss. Amazing right? yes I know.
2. Exercise.
Exercising daily can do the magic. you can agree with me that being sick is no excuse for skipping exercise as we still hear of physio-therapy even at hospitals because it is necessary for a healthy life. It enhances the delivery oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. Making exercise part of your daily activities facilitates weight loss and lowers risk of some diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. During exercise you release waste from your body through sweat there by opening the doors for your body to function great and in turn will make you live and age well.
3.Water
Water too is very essential for living healthy as it is used in every cells of our bodies. It travels through the body carrying nutrients, oxygen and waste to and from the cells and organs. It also facilitates digestion as well as supports your joints and protects your tissues and organs from shock and damage. Isn`t it also amazing to hear that water helps regulate our body temperature? Make drinking warm water every morning a habit and be thankful one day. You might have heard people say water is life, yes it is true! make water your best friend today.
Below are some tips for a healthy body:
Exercise daily for at least an hour
Eat the right foods in enough quantities
Make vegetables, fruit and water your companion
Never skip breakfast
Avoid smoking
Be motivated and get enough sleep
In addition, live in a clean environment by practicing waste management, eat good food, drink clean water and above all, encourage afforestation and reforestation of environmental friendly trees to protect the ecosystem and to prevent global warming.
